The founder story
A career built at the intersection of people and possibility.
Devon Hughes's journey into marketing and brand innovation began at 13, when the imagination and brand storytelling in the film Boomerang showed her how creative ideas could shape what people see, feel, and remember.
She earned a B.B.A. in Marketing from Jackson State University and completed dual-focus MBA studies in Women in Leadership and Marketing at Texas Woman's University. Across sales, marketing, training, and workforce development, Devon built a career helping people communicate with confidence and helping organizations turn strategy into action.
Her professional experience includes Enterprise Holdings and Gannett/USA Today, along with leadership in training and workforce development. Those roles strengthened the consultative, performance-minded approach she now brings to every Inner Depth Reflections engagement.
